Ferrari Testarossa style full wide arch bodykit
Description:- This is a full
fibreglass wide arch bodykit. The kit is designed to fit the BMW 3 series
E30, but could easily be modified to fit many other cars. It seems to fit
together very well, and although it has never been fitted looks like it
would be a good fit. The front and rear arches, and the door skins need to
be bonded on and blended into the car. The bumpers and skirts fit on
normally and are removable.
The kit includes the front bumper, rear bumper, sideskirts, front wide
arches, door skins, and rear wide arches.
The kit was brand new, but has now been stored for some time. We
understand from the customer that the cost of this kit when new was around
£1750, and that it came from Germany, although because we do not know
exactly where it came from we are unable to verify this.
The fibreglass is of a quality that is considerably better than most
companies offerings, although always as with fibreglass it is not perfect.
It seems mostly ripple free, sag free, and void free.
This kit would make a fabulous car for someone with the time to fit it. It
was not fitted because the customer was made redundant before the car was
built and had to curtail the specification. We retained the kit with the
intention of fitting it and making a show car, but have never had the
time, even though we bought the car to do it on. As you can see from the
pictures the kit even has the original tape on it from when it was packed!
This kit is quite large, and time consuming to fit. Fitting wide arch kits
is not difficult, but does not take five minutes to do a good job. We
would post but it might be in your interest to collect, and we can give
the successful bidder some tips on fitting if needed.
