Firwt job is to try the lights and work out what's in the way. This is marked above, and then cut out. The light now fits but is too far forward of the wing. 

Here we have hand fabricated a section to fit around the light using a hammer and dolly and then welded it in. As always it was seam welded - without too much distortion at all because of the strength of the panel. 

The solution is to use a second bonnet (this is already being done on a new one), cut the front off and weld it onto the front. We could have used a sheet of metal but this very often looks too artificial since it is flat.

The bonnet it double curved and when the conversion was completed looked great. Small piece above the lights was hand fabricated.

People wondered exactly what we had done, but didn't immediately know that the lights were from the wrong car - always a sign that you are on the right path. All work is seam welded using a MIG - spot welds always show through because they flex and the filler cracks.

Due to high levels of demand the waiting list for all Bodykits is full.
