The Calibra suits the Lambo door so well they should come as standard. This is not the easiest of installations, and although the kit is a bolt-on kit, the arm must be assembled on the car. Things are close but as normal we get the doors to open much further than most other kits.

The kit bolts onto the car, and onto the door, but the arm joining the two must be welded as part of the installation.

The Old hinge (which is welded to both the car and the chassis) must be cut off the during the installation, and therefore it is not realistic to return the car to original.

Price for the Kit is £750, and £1700 fully installed.



Car above fitted with Lambos at our workshop. The picture with door closed shows how gaps on properly installed Lambos should be - as good as before and better on some cars. The car below was not fitted by us (despite what you may have read), but does use the LK100 Lambotek universal kit. This kit was one of the very early universal kits. Performance of all the new kits is ahead of this. Most competitors have just about caught up with the LK100, although many still have not. Only our own LK500, and the German offerings are better than the LK100. No-one else does a kit for the Calibra, although it is not as easy to install as for example a Civic or Celica.
